  Deaths in nursing and other old-age facilities are always high for many causes compared to anywhere else. So, if an old-timer is dying of, say, cancer, and is living in a home with several recent covid-19 deaths, when he checks out tomorrow, what does the cause of death get tallied against? My guess is that the virus is the top choice due to all the attention it gets, and potential funding.

  Causes of death have never been precise in many circumstances, and often involve multiple causes.
