don't go downtown much anymore.........
but the only sporting goods store still open is in the mall, though all else is closed. needed a padded boat seat, my new hip just won't take those old plastic bucket seats in my john boat. on the way I noticed a lot of closed mom and pop restraunts, with new for rent signs and a few mom and pop stores, one antique store and a local distributor for " Amish made furniture" big yard furniture made with logs and such, he had a sign thanks for supporting us for the last 20 years. got a feeling quite a few places won't be back, though I think new folks will try to make a go with different types of stores after this is all over, spend your stimulas money wisely........
one sign did stick out we have a local texas roadhouse with big sign in parking lot, TAKE AND GRILL STEAKS, guess you call ahead and they will give you the steak to take home and grill, thought that was a neat idea.......

No one goes downtown to shop here any more. It's nothing but bars, one giant entertainment district. That is where they built the new Fiserve Form where the Milwaukee Bucks play basketball. There is one aquarium store on the north edge that I go to maybe once a month. 0 -
Sounds like the title to a country/western song
