    A fine actor. I remember watching reruns of the "Virginian" in the afternoon when I'd come from school.

    They still show reruns of the Virginian, enjoyed it when a kid and still now.  RIP Dan Drury a good actor and roll model!

    He use to come to the Tulsa show, sign photos, shake hands.  Seemed to be a very nice down-to-earth guy.  RIP cowboy.

    He was one of the few TV western actors that were real life equestrians. He spent his whole life around horses. IMHO, the Virginian was the best of all the westerns mainly because it was an hour and a half long. JD was also a conservative. RIP

    one of the good old actors for sure 
       I still watch reruns lot of  the good old westerns amazing how many of the main charterers were beaten up or shot over there series run
