Benelli came out with a bolt action rifle.......
Read an article in a recent shooting magazine on Benelli's first ever bolt action rifle, the Lupo. I don't own any Benelli firearms, and don't plan on buying one of these, but they sound pretty nice. This isn't the article I read, but here is an article from the American Hunter.

Nice rifle but in the Steyr price range. 0 -
I've had several Benelli's. Although excellent firearms, their styling can often leave something to be desired. That is the case with this rifle, which looks like it was designed by the same person who designed the Benelli B76 pistol. 0 -
A fairly glowing write-up on a butt ugly rifle... 0 -
Agree, it's not exactly what comes to mind when I think of a rifle. I read the review in the current issue of RIFLESHOOTER magazine, and it sounds like it is a really nice rifle. All the ammo shot under 1", and he mentioned that the Nosler B/T's in Federal ammo shot .41".. I like the idea of the adjust ability of the stock, but agree, it is not the most attractive thing out there.. 0 -
I have a Bennelli Super Nova Synthetic 12 ga. Riot Pump.
No issues with it. A solid reliable piece.

Maybe 256 Newton, 300 Jarret or 6x976 Vansickle would have been a better choice huh....NeoBlackdog said:

I imagine if the rifle proves to be popular then you will see them branch out into other cartridges. Patience... 0 -
Bennelli products have always been superior as for quality, but like most have surmised; its ugly.
For as much as it costs, I would not expect to be around very long.0 -

I was intrigued - one of the benneli semiautomatic shotgun actions was based on the M-1 Garand rifle action...
I think - if I recall things correctly they also made a semiautomatic rifle whose action was essentially a copy of the Garand design...
I think they were popular in Europe and south America but never caught on here in the states...

Got a Bennelli Extrema12 gauge shotgun with kick off system, 3 1/2 mag, recoils like a light 20 gauge load. Game getter for sure. 0
