I have a Samsung Verizon 4G dedicated Tablet. (Android operating system.)

I can not seem to get photos on threads here, from my Photo files or my Camera. (No way, no how.)

The only way it works is that I have to E-mail myself one to my Files, (it takes about 24 hours to "upload.") And Then (and only then) can I post a picture to the Forums.

WTH? There has to be a better way. What am I doing wrong?

Any help appreciated. Thanks.


I will add, my reception sucks here at the house. Lucky to get one bar. (Surrounding Mountains) Have to wave my phone/Tablet around in order to get 4G connectivity.

    If I click on the photo icon, it takes me to one of three options - all seperate. my Photos, Camera or Files, (Downloads.) I can only post photos from my files. (Downloads.) Not sure why. I have tons of photos, not so many downloaded images. I seem to remember someone else here saying they had to E-mail photos to themselves in order to post.

    A Luddite in need of assistance.

    I know it can be done. I am inquiring if there is an easier way to do it. My Photos, and Camera, are not in with my "Files," (Downloads.) Three seperate entities.

    I can only post photo's here from my "Files," (Downloads.) Not sure why that is.

    Tons of photo's, not that many of downloads. I have to E-mail a photo to myself, download it to my "Files," then and only then can I post it here. (A 24 hour process.)

    Ken have you tried making your screen smaller so that all the icons are visible where you leave a commit? When my screen is enlarged the one you click on to attach a picture is not visible. I have to make my computer screen smaller to find that one.

    Yes, Smitty. I can see the three options available to me, (bottom left of screen) when I attempt to post a photo. I have tried everything I can think of.

    Problem is, when I click on the photo icon, it leaves me three options. Photo's, Video and Files. I can only post a photo from "Files." (Downloads.) Not sure why. Camera and Photo options lead to a "Network error," icon.

    Have  you tried 'cut and paste'.   That works for me.
