Getting nice out

We didn't really have a winter this year. I think I wore a jacket maybe a half dozen times. 69 degrees here today. Love this weather. All our flowers are blooming and we have a ton of bees this spring, which is a good thing. Set up the bird feeders and Humming bird feeder. Now if this damn virus would end, we could go shooting, golfing and fishing. They closed all our beaches and state parks. :'(. Like to put some miles on the motorcycle. Hopefully this will be all over soon and we can get back to living. Oak

    Yes,  I would like to put some miles on the motorcycle.  I needed room in the garage this past winter so I put  the bike in storage with the local Harley dealer.  They have now closed as a non-essential business and they are trying get a procedure in order for us pick up our bikes.  I can hear bikes going by on the road all day and would like to get out.

    Nice today Oak. Watch for t-storms tonight and early tomorrow, then nice again. I agree on needing some scooter and shooter time.

    It was a near perfect day here in central MO.....mid 60's in the a.m. and made it all the way to 80 by late afternoon....I took advantage of it most of the day...  Headed out around 930, hooked up the sprayer, mixed the weed spray and covered the whole three acre yard in just over an hour.   Cleaned the sprayer, mixed up a different spray and did 3/4 of a mile of fence rows.  Unhooked the sprayer and mowed my trails through my little hunting patch in the back corner of our land.   It was going well until I hit a next of bumble bees....luckily they did not get me, but picture a large guy on a garden tractors waiving my arms and  hat and screaming like a little girl....(I'm allergic to bee stings)   So I cleared out a little bummed as it was right where I had hoped to set up turkey hunting in a couple weeks.   Cleaned the sprayer again and the yard tractor too.


    Back home for lunch and then burnt the brush pile from last fall and this spring..   My biggest mistake of the day was letting my wife know I can still work pretty hard all day long.   I could tell she was already trying to figure out what she wants done tomorrow.    BUT she does not know yet I am going fishing...


    Ended the evening taking pics of a beautiful full Moon and listening to the yotes singing !!!!  A good day for sure

    yep
    1st grass mowing yesterday a ritual I just never liked \
    tonight maybe some nasty weather due in possible  high wind hail even tornadoes   
    but at least the weather is getting nicer to be out side

    I may be able to get out after all.  Harley Dealer just emailed that the have set up a system of appts. for people to pick up bikes at staggered time so there is only one person inside dealership at a time.

    Our state parks are closed to non-county residents - which locks me out of my favorite fishing lake. But my golf course is open and I've already played 10 rounds with another tee time this morning. It's going to get within a degree or so of 70 today and sunny - the first "short sleeve" golf of the year.
