cellphone in public

Went to the grocery store the other day. Everyone was polite and maintaining 6 ft personal space. I saw several people answering their cellphone by putting it to their ear. One was wearing gloves but used the possibly contaminated gloves to handle the phone and put it to their ear. Then they put the phones back in their pockets or purse possibly contaminating those items. Judy decided not to answer hers while out, only at home after washing and sanitizing her hands and face. People are so addicted to their phones I wonder how many are contracting the virus in this manner? Maybe I am overreacting as I have not seen anything concerning this in the news. Bob

    Asking people to give up their phones would be like asking them to amputate an appendage!!

    Also understand and recognize handling the fuel nozzle at the gas station, puts you at risk. These new times constantly have you re-evaluating daily activities. Anything where you touch things after another, puts you at risk.

    After my last "to go" from Taco Bell a few days ago, I realized the stupidity of that endeavor. You have no idea who is preparing, breathing on, coughing/sneezing on your food. Done with "Take out," until this is over. Too risky.

    I just cannot bash a good taco!  Heck, the last time I took Communion, it tasted just like one without the filling! :D

    Wife just had to have a large McD's sweet tea. She had just got out of the ER for a bad headache so I agreed to drive through. I asked for a cone of ice cream, no can do but will make you a sundae, not interested. As I drive on up to pay the kid in front hands his smart phone to the cashier to use apple pay I would guess. Now tell me what is the difference, snot is snot.

    Take out dudes and dudets, I am done with for quite a while. You have no idea who is preparing your food, and their level of health/cleanliness. Realized that when looking through the pickup window when I picked up my Tacos. (1st time in about 4 months.)

    Felt very vulnerable. Realized I needed to take this in to account, and adjust my life accordingly.

    Done with all restaurans/to go, etc. For quite some time now. Not worth the risk. I hope you all heed this advice.

    Hey ,, my wife will not go to the grocery store or Walmart in this mess ,, I go with a list,, sometimes if I have to make substitutions I call the boss

    I keep hand sanitizer in the Tundra.  Have for years, and I use it a lot.  We order from Walmart on line and pick it up in the parking lot.  Not perfect, but we got peanut butter. :)

     People hear me fart and I have to tell them to not worry, they may not have loss of smell due to covid because mine don't stink. :)
