Always a Silver lining somewhere.
As some of you do or don't know.
My Bullriding grandson suffered a lacerated kidney from a hooking during a bull ride in Kalispell Montana on Feb 14 and subsequently had a week stay in the hospital ICU up there.
This coronavirus has postponed the local spring High School Rodeos out until after 1-May.
This will give him more complete healing time, thus somewhat of a sliver lining in this complex time.
He is currently sitting #1 in the district from winning the two fall Rodeos held last fall. He is a senior, so this is his last chance to make the High School National Finals, to be held in Lincoln Neb this year, hopefully in July.

bad piece of luck there , those vest save a lot of kids from getting hurt , I know my son always complained about wearing his but then when he'd take a hoof to the the back or horn , he changed his mind pretty darn quick about the value of a vest and helmet 0 -
Things seem to happen for a reason. Prayers and well wishes that he makes it to the HSNF in Lincoln. 0 -

Glad to hear he's healin' up and is going to have more time to complete the process. Sure wish I'd had a vest when I rode. I got hung up one time and wound up bruised on both sides of my rib cage from my hips to my armpits and my sternum took some good shots, too. I don't think I took a breath for 3 weeks! 0 -
that will come back to haunt him when he gets about 60 years under his belt...... 0 -
Glad to hear he's gaining ground, and pray for a full recovery. I did not know that incident took place in Cowbell. 0 -
Best of luck at that gate 0
