    Nothing is fine enough to filter out a virus, that's true. But that's not how a virus travels. It is carried through the air attached to dust and water droplets. THOSE can be filtered, and that's how a mask works.

    Home made masks are just a "feel good" scam.  If you read the CSC website carefully, you will find where they say that a home made mask will not prevent you from getting any infection.

    The best "social" mask is the unrated pleated non-surgical mask, which is light weight, doesn't restrict your breathing, & doesn't require you to launder a dirty snot rag.  Problem is, every facility that has them in the store room is hoarding them, "just in case".

    I have my protective mask from the reserves (army) and i use my paint mask that works good also and smaller. I learrned my lesson last year when i was poisoned by Chinese medicine given to me by my lovely government. Im disabled now. From shoulder and spinal issues. Although the poisoning was after surgery and caused me so i couldnt walk with out a walker. 55 with a walker. I was sick for a year. There is a class action for the tainted lot of bp meds. Give the vet the cheap crap i guess. The india meds were fine. Im not eligible to sue becasues im considered disabled and didnt lose pay. So i get poisoning that causes cancer and now this virus. All i can say is the only thing worse in living in this natsi state NJ. No rights what so ever unless your a liberal. Man im just disgusted. Anyway i think incould do something if. If i hire my own attorney. I dont really sue but im sick of big gov craping on the little guy....they shut down all non essential. Gun shops are not essential here in nj btw. So my wife cant buy 10 over priced bullets for her 1892 french revolver her dad left her. Oh no worries after paying the nice merchant said he is patient and will wait. So i wait for a pandemic to end for 10 50cent bullets priced at 3 dollars a piece. That got us a bad rap for asking for a refund. Im going to go out now and pick up 10 bullets at a 01ffl and risk death from a virus for 10 bullets. Never herd of such. But then again i lived in free America befor coming here to ( natsi NJ) be with my wife. Since i get so much each month and being penalized i gave the nice merchant all of the money to donate to the nra or wounded/ disabled vets. After shipping 60 pluss dollora for 10 bullets. Wow now we are stuck in the house with price gougers draining us. Thats my fault. My wife made the transaction. Inexperienced. No biggie . im a Christian. I pray for others. Even if i am wrong and i am alot. I forgive and apologize. Now this Chinese crap started back in the 90s with this china trade agreement some sexfiend president arranged. Again wow. Just wow. What next.

    Having recently received masks at work i find it disconcerting to see Chinese writing on the packaging.  I don't blame that Texas manufacturer for refusing to ramp up production, but I'm not a fan of using Chinese masks.  We also received some reusable, cloth masks that were made in GA.
