  Neo, it's worse than that. If I want to give my son ammo, it has to go through an FFL for a background check, of course with a fee.

  Yeah, that's gonna happen. If I mail order ammo, it has to be shipped to an FFL, and I have to pay to transfer that too. Any wonder why ammo sales in NV and AZ are booming?

  The first thing you need to do is get out of California UNLESS you were part of the folks that put the (D) antigunners in charge of the entire state.  If that is the case, stay there and suffer.  If you are part of freedom loving fellow Americans then PLEASE get out of there.  No good can come from a Government that does not fear its people.  That chart shows the hoops you must go through to get ammo.  It also might be a great time to go learn reloading stock up on supplies and be very quiet about what you have.  I really feel bad for you; as CA goes so does the Nation...
