Just when you think things might settle down, while we are told to stay behind closed doors, CA Gov. Gavin Annoysome wants to release thousands of prisoners so they WON'T get the virus! Have tried to stay calm but may be time to lock and load.

just another way the states are using it as a excuse to dump the unwanted money burdens for the states back on the citizens and save countless dollars and BS lawsuits and appeals to deal with
odds are they will be back in and a lot of innocent people will be victims again .
my humble opinion the governors should be held accountable as well as all those who choose and / or have any thing to do with the releasing any one released commits a crime they all do the time and pay restitution and no BS excuses

Yup, liberal "logic". Jail people who leave their houses, but release felons FROM their house. 0 -
i have watched over the last years as the judicial system increasingly favors the perps over the victims...and the seeming fact that execution is VERBOTEN for even the most heinous of crimes is proof positive that some criminals cannot be allowed to live in a civilized society when they have absolutely proved otherwise 3 -
He is a DEMOCRAT practicing DEMOCRAT dogma. Happening in NY as well. 0 -
He has to let some go...He needs the room for those arrested for not adhering to the social distancing mandate!

Was reading the local paper. Fella got in a roll over car accident, when the PD arrived the driver took off running. The Deputies chased him down and arrested him for fleeing the scene of a accident. They found he had 2 outstanding warrants from another 2 other counties in MO.
They called the nearby county - they didn't want him since the warrants were non-violence related and they feared Covid in their jail. The other county didn't want him either as the warrants on him were for 40 mile radius and he was outside that radius.
Our SD department booked and released him.
It didn't say but I bet the warrants were drug / alcohol related.
