Earthquake local
About an hour ago a 6.5 about 40 miles away. Shook my house enough to notice. They aren't common here thank goodness. Had 14 quarts of pressure canned meat on the rolling quart. Yea none fell and broke. They are now labeled and back in the box on the floor. One smaller after shock a few minutes ago.

Didn't feel it down here in Ogden. Or I slept through it, which is likely. Ours last week was a 5.7 and we sure did feel that one.
More than one voice has wondered if Yellowstone is waking up. If that blows, you call call us perfect ashes.

I was hauling trashcans out to the street and totally missed it. But being from San Diego I have been through enough of the shakers to last my lifetime. Epicenter halfway between Challis and Cascade ID. 0 -
