Coronavirus is hitting home
We just got sent home from work tonight. A co-worker, day shift warehouse, just tested positive. He had zero symptoms, but was exposed by direct contact with a friend who tested positive. Hence the reason he got tested.
I'm not sure where we're going from here. There's 3 guys on days in the warehouse and 6 of us at night. Damn, this sucks.

Two cases in our small very rural town. It is about to kick off. (One rumored to be a Pharmacist.)
Took a leave of absence from work, (today.) due to preexisting medical issues. I felt that I needed to isolate myself. They were very understanding.
I am quite apprehensive about coming down with this. Would not be good for me.
I wish you all the best. God Bless.

That sounds like a good call on your part. I'm not sure exactly what we'll be doing, but it almost sounds like they are getting a deep clean done of the warehouse and having us head back in tomorrow night. That doesn't make much sense to me. We'll see what ends up happening. You take care of yourself as well.KenK/84Bravo said:Two cases in our small very rural town. It is about to kick off. (One rumored to be a Pharmacist.)

Glad you were both negative and that you're almost done with your self-quarantine. That's awesome!GreatGuns said:Two days after returning from the UK two weeks ago, I heard that one of the other drivers I was in school with started feeling sick and regretfully tested positive. I then got tested and my results were negative. We all drove each other's cars, eight of us. Hopefully the gloves helped and I never touch my face with my fingers, so... Today is my final day of a 14 day self-quarantine in our guest apartment over the garage and I feel fine. I've checked and logged my temperature twice a day and it never exceeded normal. I will keep you in my prayers Jon.

I'm not sure what's going on with us. Because we've had no DIRECT contact with the day warehouse worker, we can't get tested without having symptoms ourselves. It also sounds like we're getting called back into work tomorrow or Thursday night, after a deep clean of the warehouse is done. The problem is, I'm not sure I can fathom going into a grocery store or getting gas, knowing I could possibly have the virus and be asymptomatic. I just feel like our work is jumping the gun a bit, but we'll see what they decide in the end. Take care Jim!

Thanks Joe and right back at you. I just got word work is on tonight. I voiced my opinion on rushing back like this and like I expected, that went right out the window.montanajoe said:stay safe

Friends of our were out in California for a Wedding. 1 just got back 2 weeks ago.
We've been avoiding them, other than our daily walks. Our friend Sharon had a bunch of the symptoms. She got tested and was found to be negative.
