Just a heads up for those out there that need a good sanitizer...I use "Star San" as a sanitizer in the kitchen and on all my beer making equipment...CHEAP!... 1oz will make 5gal of sanitizer...When mixed with distilled water at the proper ratios it is even food safe...

Star San is an EPAs registered sanitizer and must be used immediately. We do not recommend using it if has been in solution longer than an hour.

Using distilled water is the key...It can last forever depending on conditions... Just be sure to test it with a ph meter before using. It has to be below 3.
