Darke Co. Ohio covid-19 stats.
In our county of about 53,000 there are 20 positive cases. Most of them are centered in one nursing home in the county seat where we used to live. Today one man in that home succumbed to the virus. He was in his 70's.
It's getting close to home.

Went on the CDC site, and googled other resources. They are confirming the two cases I was told about the other day, by people i did not know. Our small town has it's start.
Other data shows 27 cases in the Tri-Cities region.
This Virus will go everywhere. We are about a Rural as you can get. If it is here, it can be where you are. Believe that.
One idiot's Son flew down here, (Golf Course Owner, here in town.) from NYC recently.
Our Medical facility is in no way, shape form or fashion equipped to deal with this.

I haven't been off the property since I got home from the hospital on March 2nd, after my colonoscopy. My wife has been to town twice so far this month just for groceries, but even she has curtailed all her running around. We just hang around and try to keep busy or just sit down and have a nap.
Being out in the middle of nowhere has it's advantages.

Dave this nursing home is the one that used to be called Heartland of Greenville. Now it's called Greenville Health & Rehab, on Marion Dr. My step mother also died there several years ago. 0
