our rural county of  around 4000 just registered it's first CV case....male in his 30's to isolate at home.... been thru some med stuff and a few other things ok but this has got me scared...when an invisible dot can make you die miserably

    We have one confirmed case here in our county, college age female.  I'd be willing to bet that where there's one, there's a bunch more.

    We have not had one in our town but one was confirmed the next town over.  It was also a college student.  They travel a lot theses days for study abroad and many of study abroad programs have people from many countries.  

    This is may sound extreme but why weren’t people who came back from any “hot spot” country required to be quarantined in an isolated area rather than voluntary home quarantine.

    Was told this AM (do not if factual.) "The Owner of the Golf Courses Son, had recently flew in from NYC, and had tested positive." Was told by another person the Pharmacist at the Walgreens here in town had tested positive." (Who knows how many he came in contact with, handled medications etc.) We are a small very rural town. If true - this will be our start.

    A third person told me there were now 5 confirmed cases in Boone, NC. and that NC was going on a mandatory lockdown starting at 5 pm tomorrow.

    Again, just what I have been told. I do not know if factual or not.

    We've got 1800 cases and 11 deaths, the odd thing is that all 11 people who died are black.

    Lock down in NC. Not quite so as of right now. Essential work is still good to go. Your hear say on the positive test is correct, 5 in Watauga county, 2 in Allegeny, 1 in Wilkes, and one in Mitchell, nothing from Carter county, and one in Washington county Tn, 2 in Johnson county, but that was a few hours ago. The hunt is on for all who have came in contact with the "positive" test people.

    Getting hammered with it here in Michigan.
    Am expecting things to get much worse. 
    3 small cities over is a hotspot in my county (Oakland County, square red one.)
