Stocks LOP was shortened for a woman shooter or a very small man...
Adding the wood lopped off back on just never works or looks good.
If the stacked spacers are removable you can change the guns geometry to fit more people...
I don't want to imagine what he paid for that furniture - it's stunning.

That is a gorgeous stock and on a Mod 12 pump em up gun to boot. Judys first trap gun was a Mod12 stocked by a man here in Michigan by the name of Ted Nicklas. Similar quality work but darker and marbled grain. It is retired and she moved on to a Browning O/U but it holds an honored place in the safe. I agree with your description about can't wear out a mod 12. We used to say they were good for a couple million rounds before they needed tuning up. The inferior Y series (post 64) would only last a million or so.
