ID the modle of this Savage/Stevens/Springfield Slide Action 12 Gauge Shotgun
I bought this on the auction side. It was listed as an unknown single barrel shotgun. Obviously it is a slide action; I got the slide handle and wood forend. The complete trigger guard assembly matches pictures in my parts book for a Savage/Stevens/Springfield model 67 Series B. I believe this is for a model that the magazine tube doesen't easily come out of the receiver as it was not included. My pictures show the takedownassembly still attached to the bottom of the barrel. The piece left of the takedown assembly has a screw that would hold this part fixed in the forward end of the magazine tube when the barrel is removed. The breech end of the barrel has split threads similar to a inchester model 12. Any help in getting the model will be appreciated.
