Here's an uplifting Covid 19 thought...

I'm doing a little carpentering on the house today and have the sawhorses/saws/sander/ and other carpentering ephemera set up in the driveway.   Sitting there on my plywood workbench was a trophy sized mosquito, first of the year.  He, of course, got squashed but it put the thought in my head that if West Nile virus and the Zika virus can hitch hike in the mosquitoes, could Covid 19 do so as well?

Got the below info from the WHO website.  Hope they're right!

The new coronavirus CANNOT be transmitted through mosquito bites.

To date there has been no information nor evidence to suggest that the new coronavirus could be transmitted by mosquitoes. The new coronavirus is a respiratory virus which spreads primarily through droplets generated when an infected person coughs or sneezes, or through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose. To protect yourself, clean your hands frequently with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water. Also, avoid close contact with anyone who is coughing and sneezing.

    camping in at home 5 miles from our small town.....after surviving a blast of CHF out of the blue and  all the attendant med stuff and now wearing implant a pace/defib unit to finish off the last 4 months the last thing i need is a hit of CV .....it would most probably do me in.......not sure how to make all of this work but will try.....would not have made it without the top notch care of my wife a retired RN-ARNP ...figure this may be a several months deal ...life on the line...sure never figured on another bad to pop up going thru this...i figure this with other things over the years  to have used up  2/3 of my cat lives

    I feel you Spasmcreek. With 2 out of the 3 listed preexisting medical issues contributing to being a "Serious" case, I feel very apprehensive about this.

    Not looking forward to what is about to transpire.

    I'd be completely screwed.
