Ruger 57
Anyone have one yet? Thoughts?
I think once this madness slows down and prices drop I might have to pick one up..

I'v had one of the FN's chambered for the same round for years. Bought reloading dies, when I first got it. Won't stableize the heavier bullets ( 55 + grains ). This is a very limiting factor. As the factory ammo is mostly FMJ's, and quite expensive,
Best bet, for effective soft point and HP bullets, that are resonable price wise. Are the bullets Armscore sells for their version of the same cartridge. The 22 TCM. They are short 39 & 40 grain JHP's, that are very frangable. Haven't shot anything big with them yet. But figure they will be very effective for personal protection.
Hopefully once the Ruger 57, hits the street in numbers. Some aftermarket manufacturer, will bring out a slow twist barrel that will stablize the heavier 22 caliber bullets.0
