maybe not a cure but hope........
saw on the news last night 2 different doctors talking about the virus and using a preexisting medicine called hydrocoline?? spelling, it currently used to treat malaria and sometimes along with another called Zephaline,???? agian not sure spelling. neither of these have been approved by FDA for treatment of the virus, but both are currently being used to treat the virus in NY area. guess their are some side effects related to heart. bit these are known from the treatment of malaria and can be treated at the same time. it seems to reduce the severity of the virus to that of common flu.
of course they don't currently know if the side effects associated with the medicine when used to treat malaria, are going to be the same as when they use it to treat the virus, or if the virus will cause different side effects. either way it is a start...... heres hoping and praying it will work
