Armed guard on the street with a rifle

On St Patrick's Day about the 2500 block or so of East 10th Street, Indianapolis, I saw someone outside a liquor store in a police or security uniform, including body armor, holding a stoner type rifle.

    Well I presume that Liquor is in high demand if your stuck at home all day now with nothing to do. And g_d forbid if delivery is
     Suspended for security reasons.

    City assures it’s not banning gun, alcohol sales or seizing property (yet)


    The part of the city code that went into effect with the emergency declaration contains the extraordinary powers, including giving the mayor the ability to set a curfew, close liquor stores, ban the sale of gasoline in containers and stop gun sales.

    When I worked at a BI-LO grocery store in Sumter SC back in the early 70's (moonlighting), I took care of the stores bank deposits.  I had an armed guard that looked just like that movie guy with the smokey bear hat and sunglasses escort me!  He carried a short barreled double sxs 12 gauge shot gun!

     my oldest son told me ( In our small town even )  a local store had a uniform officer stationed in the TP isle   and I would guess the whole store to prevent fighting maybe ?  .. who would have guessed that LOL
