Hand sanitizer around here was an early MIA. Right along with TP.

People are working on eggs, bread, canned goods, pasta, batteries, etc right now. That stuff is disappearing like the first two products I mentioned.

I don't get the batteries. Power going out soon?

Some girls have battery operated appliances.  Staying home alone can get boring.

Just commenting to my wife yesterday.  Wait until 9 months from now to see the baby boom.  Maybe like one we have not seen before.

Another item missing on the shelves of the 3 big supermarkets I have shopped in has been FLOUR!  NONE!

I was just needing 5 lbs. to restock my small bin.  They had a lot of sugar and sweets up the wazoo!

No doubt there are millions of people in this country that have decided now is the time to learn how to bake.  We have a 5 pound bag of flour that we have had for a couple of years.  I use it to bread pork chops when I am not grilling them.  Probably 3 pounds left, so I think we're good for at least 3 more years.  With any luck this virus will be old news by then.

We built a new surgery center and abandoned the old one, I recovered all of the old hand sanitizers, sitting on more than all ever need. Going to go buy some plastic pump bottles and transfer it in to those so I can share, these are dispenser type and aren't handy for use without the dispensers.
Probably have to make a rescue run to Mom, her and my step father are sheltering in 89/85 and can't get eggs, my Niece is delivering stuff to them but she can't find eggs and he is on a diet for his diabetes that allows him two or three eggs a day.
Maybe I can trade someone sanitizer for eggs :)

Local groceries are allowing seniors only to shop the 1st hour that they are open daily.  That makes sense, we have to get up early anyway to go to the bathroom.

Stopped in my local small town grocery store for a gallon of Distilled Water yesterday. They had a limit on bottled water, bread, eggs, rice, bleach, and TP of 1 per household.
They had a very limited stock of TP - 4 small rolls in a pack - Always Save brand.  I didn't buy any, we can survive with what we have (20 some rolls in the house) till the craziness slows down.
