NICS BACKGROUND CHECKS

NICS announced call in background checks are suspended, and FFL's must use the on line system. In the last 2 days I  have imputed 38 background checks. 18 of them have come back with a delayed response. In many cases I know the customer personally, and never had an issue getting a proceed. The background checks from 3/17 are still in delay status with a Brady transfer date 30 days after the initial date of the check. Looks to me the system is saturated.

    mine went thru just fine this morning , took maybe 2 minutes for them to answer the phone  but after that is was normal

    No issue at all to get my new Glock today.

    One advantage of having a CC at least in my state. form & leave with gun.

     I have heard of delays past the limit where the buyer received his firearm.

    I picked up a new pistol at noon today. Mine was the first 4473 approved in that busy gun shop since 10 AM 3/17, all the others were delayed.
