pistol purchase permits denied
some police dept in mich are not giving out pistol permits due to virus we no longer can use our cpl as background check due the state police mess up ...permits for those under 21 to buy pistol from dealer it is the end of days here

Happening in our state also. Depts. are not processing any renewals because they require a face to face meeting to go over the application. 0 -

It will be back to normal pretty soon. Its probably due to the fact that the state closing some departments and the background checks cannot be done as usual right now. 0 -

I live in Michigan and think they could follow what our states DMV (Secretary of State) is doing. They closed their walk in offices and are doing all the stuff that needs to be done face to face by appointment only.
I just bought a truck from my BIL and had to do a title transfer & plate purchase. I was a bit bummed when I heard I couldn't run straight to them for the needed paper work, but the appointment made online let me choose the time and day (which was the same day I was applying). I got there about 20 minutes early and met a guy at the door checking me out and asking if I had an appointment. I then walked right in and up to the counter. Done Bang Boom! Sure beats the usual pick a number and sit for an hour!!3 -
Voters decide who they elect and what type Govt they have. Voters have been asleep in most States for several years. They even allow teachers to have more power over their children than they do.

Here in Ohio along with all the closings I posted earlier about Honda the shutdowns gets larger every day just across the TV news banner DMV now part of the closed or closing
maybe just me but it sure seems there is a underlying issue or plan we are not being told ( I know tin foil hat ) but the flu kills and hospitalizes way more so whats up ?0 -
As an Ohio resident also, I think two things.
