The first time I saw this happen what caught my eye was the guy walked all the way from the gas station.....pushing a cart full of garbage INTO the front doors of the Sams Club store.   I thought "that was nasty" and didn't jump into action over what I saw.     The second time I noticed it I actually saw a guy grab a random cart and start pulling the bags out of the cans......so I called the store and spoke with the manager.     He promised things would be done to fix this.    Then, a third time, I noticed a buggy down there with bags in it.....so I called again.

This store just got NEW buggies....and this is one of them in the picture with the bags in it.

I'm SO grossed out thinking about it.

I saw a worker at Wendy’s take her bare hand and push the trash down in a small trash can behind the counter. Then she went back to fixing food. If I told that to my wife, she’d never eat at ANY Wendy’s again.

I also see it and hate it.
Another thing I see that just scares me is;  at walmarrt a person brings in an old dead car battery in a shopping cart.  Either down where you put your groceries or worst yet in the small seat where you set your baby/child.
These batteries are nasty dirty, and dead for a reason, many leaking.

They can afford and should have dedicated trash transports

It would be VERY easy to just dedicate a couple of carts just for that purpose and paint them red or yellow with a trash cart tag attached.  Simple fix done cheap.

The very same carts we put babies with soiled diapers in, How Could They?!

Not good, but if you don't wipe down any cart you use it could be worse.

     I agree with He dog
seeing and cant avoid the smell of some of the people who use the carts kids with loaded diapers dogs cats and every thing else loaded in a cart . a few bags of trash is not right at all but just the tip of a iceberg
I got to where I try to not watch the servers or habits of the restaurants we visit especially fast food    places . keeping clean seems to have fallen wayside

I think it is reasonable to expect a store to keep garbage out of carts used by their customers for food items.  I never thought of the dirty diaper thing posted by He Dog, YUK.  Me thinks the best course for you and others is to stay on the store manager's butt until the practice stops!  One person doing the right things for the right reasons can make a world of difference to others.  I commend you for your perseverance in this issue.

It's gross, but in all honestly, I am not sure that is any more disgusting than many of the Wal-Mart clientèle.

by no means trying to defend them, but in todays work enviroment just getting an employee to empty the trash is a major accomplishment.............
