Interesting tidbit regarding testing here in SC
First disclaimer these are both unproven stories relayed to me by what I consider reliable people.
I was at a healthcare facility this morning and the head nurse told me that she had advised a friend who has traveled and had fever and other potential symptoms to call MUSC's virtual screening line, the answer was no test needed not meeting the testing guidelines.
Another employee called out due to suspected bronchitis and was told not to come back to work until she was tested, her husband said she also called MUSC's virtual screening test line and was told she didn't meet the criteria for testing.
Me thinks they have NO where near enough tests and of course they are trying to prevent every Tom Dick and Harry from jumping in to get testing. Fine but how many will they surely miss like that?
Another girl said she wonders if she already had it, traveled to Italy came home felt a little under the weather attributed it to jet lag, but now wonders if she would show positive antibodies. I think US probably has and possibly had many more cases we just don't and maybe won't ever know.

A bad flue went around here in SW Virginia and Southern West Virginia around Christmas. Some are speculating that is why there are no reported cases in this area. 0 -
And folks wonder why they don't trust their govt. Something is fishy with this whole ordeal. It will come out eventually what really happened. 0
