Great turn around by my dealer and Glock. Picked up my new 48 today. Looks like I will need a different holster from the 43 after all but that is an easy problem to solve

I ordered a new gun today. Glock 48.


This is essentially a single stack Glock 19 and slightly thinner -it comes from the factory with 10 round mags.

Why would I do such a silly thing?

A company called Shield Arms has patented a flush fit magazine with a 15 round capacity. I bought 3 of the 15 round mags, & an aluminum mag release also made by Shield Arms.

I will drop some fiber optic sights on it and a Johnny Glock trigger and have quite a defensive gun in a very compact package.

I will update in a few weeks after I get the package together and run it through its paces.

It also fits Glock 43 holsters which is what I currently carry.

    10 rounds in a slimline pistol. That would make a good carry gun.

    My neighbor, Mike, has made the 48 his regular carry gun. I had a chance to fire it and it fit my small-medium sized hands quite well.

    Nice. I was  about to order a 25 wssm upper I'm getting paid right now to sit at home  not certain how long that'll last. Figured I had better  delay that purchase for now

    I sold my 43 and bought a 48 a few weeks ago. Holster is different more for the magazine than the gun I believe.
