Sad News Story
Lonny Schonfeld, the grandfather of the slain boys, is an acquaintance of ours. I don't know his son-in-law, the alleged murderer, and I can't explain the similarity between his name and Lonny's. Coincidence or typo?
At any rate, Lonny is a really good guy, and his world is turned upside-down as he and his daughter now make funeral arrangements for two small boys.

"This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. I can hardly make these words come out.
Yesterday morning, my daughter’s evil sent from the devil ex-husband, had my two beloved grandsons for the night, and yesterday morning, he killed them in a hotel room in Dallas.
My entire family is beyond devastation. My heart is ripped to shreds.
Those two boys were my life. I loved them with every ounce of my being. I know that my entire life has changed forever.
Please pray for my daughter. I don’t know how she will survive this.
I don’t know how any of us will survive this.
I am no longer the same person. My boys are gone. The pain is unbearable."

Wow, the last moment of those boy's lives had to be hell. I'm sure the coroner will figure out who pulled the trigger, him or her. Prayers and thoughts for your friend, his daughter and others involved. 0 -

There were four people in the hotel room. The two boys, their father, and an adult female, possibly the father's girlfriend. It is also not 100% certain that it was the father who pulled the trigger. Could have been the woman. Still under investigation. 0 -

Prayers for the friends and family's truly sad day
about 20 years ago a real nice lady I worked with her and husband were about to split up in a mode of payback he killed the kids and then himself one of the small boys ran to a outside shed but his dad found him killed then shot him
I ( we ) have often thought the last minutes of the kids life's and how wacked out the dad was to face your own kid begging you do not shoot .
the lady told me birth days holidays were so depressing she would take off work for a week on the anniversary of loosing them every year

I can't even begin to find the words for what happened to those 2 little ones or how Lonny and his entire family are feeling and what they are going through.

Someone asked whether Lonny is a Gunbroker Forum member. No, he is not. We have been associated and acquainted with him through the Texan Theater, Greenville Municipal Auditorium productions, and The Oaks Country Club. 0 -
