Yep, they used a crop duster to paint your car with. Just pull up in the driveway and wait in your car and for an extra $10 bucks they'd make 2 passes over your car.BobJudy said:I'll paint any car for 29.99 no ups, no extras - Earl sheib
I think it had gone up to 49.99 by the 60s but still no ups no extras. Bob3 -
I had a bottle of Hai Karate in my medicine cabinet up to about 5 years ago when I moved. It must have sat there for at least 25 years and tossed out when I was packing. I did keep the bottle of English Leather however and it is at least as old. Still smells nice and is 3\4's full! 0 -
I got a paint job like that on my first vehicle. A 61' Ford Econoline van. (Same as my birth year.) 3 on the tree. If an accident were to happen, you would be the first one there. Fire engine red.
"If the van is rockin', don't bother knockin' ." Miami, around 1976. Good times.

Believe it or not! This IS an Earl Sheib paint job! The young kid working there went to extra measures for me and nearly lost his job! I did not ask for it but he really liked my car. I had it all primed when I took it in. Also tipped him quite a bit more than the shop bill.3 -
You can trust your car, to the man beneath the star, the great, big Texaco star!
