I've been in contact with a couple guys here on GBGD and they are aware of what's going in my world right now and at my request, they have kept my situation under their hat.
I'm currently living under Govt mandated quarantine by the ministry of health this country in North Africa, have been since shortly after midnight on 1-Mar due a coronavirus case in our midst.
The quarantine period will end on 15-Mar after that time, I will be at liberty to share more details.
It has been advised by our Powers that be, not to post information on social media, since you guys are anti-social I figured leaking a little bit wouldn't hurt much.
I didn't want to hijack FCD's thread, but wanted to let you know that some places are taking the quarantine quite seriously.
Our temperatures are taken twice daily to see if we are going HOT, but so far we've all been good.
Downside is that if someone here at the base goes HOT and gets symptomatic or goes full blown, then the clock resets for another 14 days.
i am somewhat superstitious and am concerned about Friday the 13th.

Wow, it really hits home when it happens to one of our forum members. Let's hope you are out on the 15th. There are only five nations in North Africa. I'll take it for granted that you aren't in Libya, so that narrows the list. 0 -

Our base inside "the wire", is on total lockdown, but outside the wire, the quarantine covers an area about 110 miles West to East and 45 miles North /South, no vehicles except food supplies allowed inside this containment.
Services at the base that are outside "the wire" are still moving equipment and doing normal jobs, inside the quarantined area, but their people are also not allowed to crew change.
lots of unhappy nationals that are accustomed to working one week on and one week off.
Big Red still plugging along, along with the bottom dwellers with the blue equipment.

our thoughts are with you and hope it clears asap for all of you .
personalty so much info good and bad its hard to sort out how bad it really is and to try and capture and contain / control it in today's world seems like a pipe dream . just one infected person could just keep it going for ever
