    Actually I don't think they ever did become extinct.  Saw some tracks this morning out in the snow that sure weren't made by any 4 footers!   Had a tail skid mark as well! :o:#

    Might have been Ricci. He wrote a book I think called three tracks in the snow, his pen name was one hung low.
