SXSW cancellation

So Austin just cancelled the SXSW music/media/tech festival because of corona virus concerns. I don't care.....I have never been to it but it means quite a loss for the local economy though. Personally, I wish that Austin was a less attractive place because the influx of people drives up taxes. Moreover, I wish that this was a less liberal city.....because it kind of sux. Now mayor Adler and the city council are proposing a new light rail and SUBWAY system for the city. God help us if they try to build a subway system here........the land is full of caves due to being limestone bedrock. Every time the city builds a road and finds a cave........they halt construction and do a study......then they find a cave cricket  or a salamander that only live here...........and you know the rest. I wish all of the festivals would die and the Kalifornia  transplants would go somewhere else.
