    According to the date Bill Clinton just got sworn in as President....I say send it to Hillary since she's so full of it, she can reminisce at then same time  :)

    I remember many times in Grandpa's outhouse sitting there and crumpling up pages of the catalog so they wouldn't tear you a new one when you wiped. If you crumpled them long enough, they actually got pretty soft.

    If using corn cobs the ratio was 3 red cobbs to 1 white . The white was to check if you needed to run another red thru the chute !

    Yep, missing pockets, hankies, long sleeves turned into short sleeves, or at least one sleeve. After awhile you learned to take off each sleeve evenly..

    Back in 1969, I got stuck pulling guard duty at an airbase in England. It was winter and I was out near the end of a runway. Earlier at chow I had a noodle casserole made from C-Rats, and it had worked through my system...quickly. I walked back into the tree line and dropped my drawers....at the time I didn't think about TP. Now it was an issue. At first I started to take off a combat boot and planned on using a sock. At the last minute I decided to use my gray GI Air Force scarf. It was real wool and very comfortable. I threw it up on a tree limb. Every so often I would drive by the area in an Air Force pick up....the scarf was still there up to eight months later...
