Pietta 1873 Cattleman BP versus Cartridge Intrchangeability
I have a Pietta 1873 Cattleman Cap and Ball , one piece walnut grips. I am wanting to put faux ivory grips on it and found some for a good price ,which are two piece. The ad says they fit a Pietta 1873 single action. Question is, will grips interchange on the Cartridge pistol and the Cap and ball ? I hate to order and they not fit. TIA

Their online catalog says they are the same frames, i.e., the same guns except for the percussion cylinder and hammer. There is a space there to ask a question. 3 -
