FREE sausage biscuit Monday at Hardees

 Just say" Happy Morning" and you get one for anyone who cares. I stop there sometimes for their Frisco.

     Ohh you will. I am with the Secret Society Of Possum People and we plan a "turn lose" about 1k in your area. Everyone needs to enjoy shank as much as we do.

    Sometimes, when I lay a wedge wide open, I'll shank a ball right of the green. I do not enjoy those shanks.

    Edit to ask: Anybody know if the free biscuit is good at Calrl's Jr also?

    By the time I would get to the nearest Hardee's, I would have forgotten the password for a free biscuit anyway!    I can just see myself at the counter...…"ah" "Gay Morning"...…."ah" "Rainbow Morning"....."ah" "GB Censor Morning"  :o

     Well, you have the blade to much open if you shank it right, plus you hit it to softly. Power through on an open wedge if the situation dictates it.

    Canned possum just is not the same as fresh scraped road kill opossum...

    And save the grease - for grits and biscuits...

    Of coarse true epicurean experts prefer skunk or something from the stoat or weasel family...

    Raccoon for thanksgiving in Atlanta is a real thing...

    Sigh.

    Raccoon to me is actually a greasy, stringy meat. Same as groundhog. The hogs only eat veggies but are greasy as a floor of a garage that houses a 1956 Ford.

    What's that traditional yurt consumed rodent that was cooked by inserting fire baked rocks under the skin???

    I knew a guy who fed his pigs groundhog - but I don't imagine they were very tasty when cooked and consumed...

    Wonder what the preferred condiment is for possum and stoat and such - corn liquor or applejack mayhap...

    My brother in law was cooking coon one day, we had dropped in for a visit. He said look here, opened oven door and there set the whole coon on a roasting pan grin and all. I hope he had cleaned it. Yuck, coons will eat anything to, dead or alive.

    Well "pardone" me, raccoon. I am not politically correct. We always called raccoons, coon's, opossums were possums, tomato's are maters, potatoes are taters, and so on and always will be.

    My hunting partner of the last 30+ years is Dinee, or Navajo.  When he was a kid they ate prairie dog.  Lay it in the coals to singe all the hair off, then gut it and fill with vegies.  use bailing wire to wrap to hold it all together, and roast on the coals.  Tastes like squirrel, because it is a ground squirrel.
