Usually store brand (Food Lion) Whole Wheat bread.

    I guess I am frugal.

I'm on a low-potassium diet, and one of the things I'm supposed to avoid (oddly) is whole wheat bread. White bread is pretty much all alike - uninteresting - so I just buy whatever is there. What I really like is Jewish Rye, loaded with caraway seeds.

Fresh baked rye with so many caraway seeds they fill the bag when they fall off!

Store bought would be Peprich (pardon my spelling) Farm Oatmeal bread. A fairly large size slice, but it fits easily into my toaster.  It is a fairly dense bread that doesn't fall apart when making cold sandwiches.

I also buy a lot of frozen bread dough breads that have to be slowly thawed to rise and bake.  Not quite as good as the wife's scratch made but better than most packaged store breads.

Martins Potato Bread is probably my favorite but I like bread of all sorts.

I buy the wal-mart white utility bread for day to day use. It must have the bare minimum preservative in it. If it sits out of the fridge for very long it's moldy. I can't take the white mush called bread that the bigger commercial bakeries sell. I like all the whole wheat, rye, pumpernikel and so on. And if I want good bread I make it myself.

My wife found a frozen bread  called "Rhodes" I believe at Walmart?  REALLY great tasting when simply baked at home.   And I'm fussy about my bread!
