When did "sticky" change to "announcement"?

  My bad.  How do I delete my post like the old days?

  Announcements are stickies.  They can be hidden by using the Dismiss option on the tool (the gear wheel). Members have reported that it is no longer possible to delete their posts.

  Moderators can delete posts but evidently members cannot delete their own posts anymore.

  Best you can do to "delete," is hit the little gear on the upper right of your post, click on "Edit," and backspace to remove your post. Leaves a blank post with your name attached to it and "edited."

  Not perfect, but better than nothing.
