Deer hunting knife
What's yours? I've been using a Browning Sportsman, folder with 3 blades. Perfect in my estimation. One blade to open the carcus with a "knob" on the end eliminating cutting into the intestines, saw blade
to cut the pelvis bone and a straight blade to do the real business.

I also use a three bladed Browning. The gut blade on mine has a knob like you describe and on the other side of it it has a gut hook. Not only do I use one I've bought and given one to all the deer hunters in my family. 0 -

Buck 110 since 1974. It was the last Christmas present my dad gave me. I know there are knives more suitable for the job, but I’m not changing. 0 -

Well, since you asked, a custom Dawson, made by John Roy. Smallish drop point, it has field dressed a deer and a pronghorn, and has not needed to be sharpened yet. 0 -
in the past I have used my truck's my car's ( and my wifes honda element last time 6 yrs ago ) none were very efficient in saving the meat or making clean cuts . I hunted very little so I killed more driving to work over the years than shooting them .
however the few I did cut up on purpose I have a buck 110 that does well0 -
The Buck B403 Big Sky is the best all-around hunting/skinning knife I've used.
