While were on the subject of viruses and Stock Market

Not shouting the sky is falling but just imagining. As reported and witnessed with even Federal Employees who went without a paycheck and damn near failed financially. How many Americans can survive a month without a paycheck? How many businesses will prosper if they have people out for a month? Seems by the time people get sick and recognize it they may have already infected numerous coworkers. Then go up to 14 days in isolation? Another 14 or more if sick? How long before fully recovered and back to work?

China has got to have millions who have been isolated and therefore out of work not making more widgets to ship here?

    I still think the federal workers financial problems were overblown politically to damage Trump. What landlord would throw out a tenant when he knows that he will get all back rent when the Fed budget was passed? How many cashless Fed employees had credit cards that allowed them to buy food and meds. Did any of them lose their Fed health insurance? If they were that bad at personal finance, why are they working for the govt? Hopefully this virus will add credence to Trumps plans to manufacture in the U.S. instead of being at the mercy of global disastors. Bob

    If people can't afford a month without income, pretty sure the cost of a funeral or two will put em under even more!

    I have survived 3 1/2 months, not one $ of Unemployment. (Since I have not been looking for a job, I elected not to take it.) [I have Morals.] I can survive another two easy. If I decide to cash out my Profit Share, another 20-24 months easy. I am very frugal, and everything is paid for.

    Trying to decide If I can retire early at 58 1/2. Lots of stuff to sell, for $$.
