Show me your pistol lanyards
I have a couple pistols that have attachments for lanyards and am thinking about picking up a couple. I am interested in the types of lanyards people have and how you use them. The two pistols are a Glock G19x https://us.glock.com/en/pistols/g19x and a Nighthawk Custom https://www.nighthawkcustom.com/thunder-ranch-combat-special
I am thinking about a utilitarian lanyard for the Glock and maybe more of a leather decorative lanyard for the 1911.

Hard to beat the US Military (Army) Pistol lanyard. I have one around here somewhere (?) Corded OD green, with a beefy snap clip.

The one I am familiar with is pretty much a big loop. It can be looped through itself and attached to pretty much anything you want. Molle strap, etc. You could also attach a small carabiner in the loop end and simplify the connection to anything you want.
I am sure Sam06 is more familiar with them, than I am. Perhaps he will weigh in.
