Been there, done that. Why do we always get that extra page with nothing but the one line source of the email printed at the bottom? Bob

    That irritates me, too!

Most irritating - and a waste of expensive ink. I use 3-to-page checks, and when I have one blank one, I have to tape it to a full sheet of something for it to feed. That's where I use up all those extra printed sheets.

All you need to do is go to your printer "preferences" and click on "print preview", then deselect everything that you don't want, then print it.

I agree they make printing hard, to waste both paper and ink.  What you see isn't always what you get.

Same with sloppy coding - you need more and more memory to accomplish the same task.

This post really hits home!  Just this morning I had to find and print out a copy of a portion of my car insurance about personal protection paid out in the last year for my income taxes.

Pay every 6 months, so I needed a page for each billing cycle.  Looking at the printer set up it read out 16 pages in order to get just the one I needed and I had to do this again for the next 6 month copy!!  Figured I'd watch closely and when the right page came out that I would cancel the rest of the printing.  Unfortunately,  it came up on the LAST page! :#

I decided to get smart on the second printing and just took 4 sheets of paper for the feeder.  I waded through all the junk and kept placing the same paper into the feeder, printing over the sheet several times until I got towards the end and started using new paper for my needed copy.    No...…..I did not feel very smart after doing this!   I just felt violated!  I had just been run over by a printer! :(

I agree Bubba.  Print preview is your friend.

My printer doesn't seem to have those options.  The cancel print takes several pages to stop and many times after I shut off the power, the printers memory comes back to haunt me again!

I know, I need to buy a new printer!

So I just printed out the updated 25-25 pic.  If I selected the pic and clicked print it would have been 2"x3" maybe.  I selected open in a new tab and it wasn't much better size wise.  So I selected copy the image, opened my Libre Office new document pasted in the pic, print came out 5x8 more less.  Yea no wasted paper.
