Nasty weather....rained on several times today.....a bit chilly.....being productive though!!!
I had to run out and get lunch for the crew, so we picked barbecue for today......ran a plate by my daughter's house on the way home so I got to see the grandbaby for a second. By the time I got home it was already raining again (so done with this mess.) We sorted out some of the "stuff" that has been here forever and ever that we NEED to list and they got busy on handling that while I ran back out to pick up some local guns. I dropped by the bank and a couple other places....every time I got out of the car it was like getting a cold shower. When I was headed home people had taken over the roads that shouldn't be driving at all......its rain, the roads are wet.....but WHY drive 45 for cripes sake!!!! I finally got back and I'm about to start taking pictures. On a good note I have found the Easter candy is already in stores.....so we have a stash to plunder if anyone needs a little pick me up.

Drove from SC to the ATL today for a Doctors appointment. Rain most of the way there and all the way back. I also am tired of all this rain. The lake is over full and they may even open up the spillway gates. Been a few year since they opened them up. This is a picture of my wife in front of them the last time they were open.

Pretty!!!! We've had flood situations around here for more than two weeks. The sun will come out for a bit, but then it will rain for two days and its back to being "tricky" in places. We are pretty lucky and aren't having any issues because of the rain here, but people are suffering all over because of it. My middle child lives a bit more north, but still in Alabama and she had snow the other day. I would love a day or two of snow just to get some change of scenery......sooooo sick of rain. 3
