Retaliation in Richmond
Some of my friends in Virginia are telling me that the Legislature denied a 3% pay raise to deputies because they dared speak out against HB 961 and it was defeated. If this is true, what a cruel thing to do as many of them are underpaid as it is. Any of you LEO's down that way know the story?
Kind of reminds me of Informational meeting on NY Safe (unsafe) Act of 2013 with King Cuomo, Supt. of State Police and Sheriffs all over NY State. When Sheriffs started to get on his case he looked down at his Rolex as if to say lets get this over with and implied that they could be placing their jobs in jeopardy and that the state could with hold funds from their Depts. I guess he forgot the Sheriffs were elected By the People and not appointed by him like the Supt. of State Police.

Looks like they will get 1% next December from link. I guess this was after the 3% was turned down and info leaked? 0
