Wood pellet grill
I was thinking about trying one of these. But they run from $200 to $2000, and I don't know why. I have no experience with these. Would anyone have a suggestion from their experiences with these and suggestions, Thanks

I bought the GMG Daniel Boone last year, and am very happy with it. I bought the non wi-fi model, but kinda wish I had it. The Daniel Boone model comes with a meat probe that you can plug into the control box. The wi-fi model has the capability of monitoring the meat temperature during the cooking w/o having to go glance at the temperature on the grill in person. For the money, IMO, GMG's are hard to beat for what you pay for. This is my first pellet grill, and it's only a year old. I do realize that every grill has it's good and bad points. I went with the GMG after looking at on line reviews, friends reviews and cost. Chief Shaway, the Moderator, bought the wi-fi model at the same time I bought mine. We pm'd back and forth for awhile, and we both seem to be happy with our choices. PM him and see how he likes his.. 0 -
My son has a Traeger. I think it's great for smoking, but I prefer a typical grill that uses charcoal for grilling.
