unless it is a factory issue package , which I'm pretty sure it's not. It has no value above a nib blackhawk shooter 0 -
These were produced by Ruger in-the-white (unblued) for MagNaPort, who then added custom features such as a jeweled hammer and trigger, polished action, deep blue/black finish on frame and barrel with satin nickel on ejector housing, Magnaporting on barrel, etc. They were then placed in an exotic walnut case along with a genuine arrowhead set in Lucite, a custom cast medallion and some literature on Chief Blackhawk and the Blackhawk War. 150 units were offered for sale in 1982, but it is said only 75 or 80 sets were made. They rarely come up for sale but I recall one sold for 2 grand back maybe 10 years ago. The firearms market is somewhat soft right now so perhaps one in new cond. would bring $1500? I don't know. I think they were over $1000 in '82 when they came out so not a particularly good investment. Really nice outfit, though. 0
