McMillan believes that the larger millennial population has not yet embraced wine, which is the wine industry's largest growth opportunity

I have not drank any wine for 40+ years, .  early on my buddies ( sadly most all of them have passed on )  and I only drank the good stuff  LOL  boons farm , mad dog ( mogan david )  20-20 , and the rest of the top shelf  wines from the local carry out .
never liked the taste but they were cheap and provided the effect we were looking for

Good Lord! Mad Dog 20-20! Haven't drank any of that since 1972. Like it said on the label: 'It maketh glad the heart of man". It also could maketh sick the stomach of man!

yep when I was 16  got a job at a local grocery store ( worked there for almost 5 years was a  manager when I left ) any way all the beer and cheap wine  the store stocked I could buy any time the other  employees also teen age kids ( most  teen age kids we knew  for that matter  got a free pass on ID check  )  different times for sure , and so wide spread also ,  just about every high school kid we had   many places ( we all knew  them )  sold to minors if  they knew you sometimes that did not even matter  cash was in hand no Id was needed and do not tell
another buddy  had a job of cleaning up a  local bar after closing  .   so he always seemed to find a bottle or three  of jack or similar  hi octane beverage LOL  as he locked up .  so drinking was well covered .  too many stories and I am getting off topic  ( sorry ) so save for another day

Never found any of it that tasted good to me . Guess I just ain’t sophisticated enough to appreciate the stuff. My wife’s niece’s husband is an oenophile and owns two very large distributors and several boutique wine stores in Charleston and Charlotte. Reckon I need to ask his advice
