    That is TOO Cool.

    That guy is kicking the hell out of Life at 80 yrs. of Age. Kudo's Sir. Major league Cajones there. I especially like where he takes his feet and hands away from all controls and hangs them out while flying overhead. Sounds like a two stroke. Maybe I'm wrong.


    I will say, that thing does not look very survivable if you were to go down.

    Yep- looks like a Benson gyrocopter.  There are a couple that are so small they fall under the FAA Part 103 regs as an ultralight.  No license required.

     hand starting it at his age is about as dangerous as flying it .

    I was thinking of building one over forty years ago. I took a flight in an unpowered towed training version. That scared me out of the idea. I had a private license for airplane & gliders & I had flown hang gliders & ultralights but that flight was too much for me. 
    I was going up & down like a yoyo.
