Old collector's post- continued

Most break-top revolvers pivot at the front of the frame; this pivots in much higher and to the rear. How did the builder manage that? Have you had this thing broken down yet? The more I study this thing, the more impressed I am. Crude in some ways, yes, but a design unlike any I have seen.
