At the moment I own two. One is our beloved farm dog protector of the farm Nalla half golden lab half golden retriever. She's getting old, 13 years now so 1.5 years ago we bought a golden lab pup in the hopes that the pup would learn from the older one, so far that has been less than successful, the new one is not as smart and is very cowardly. We get alot of odd wild animals out here and we expect our dogs who are loose all of the time to handle that for us. There have been several encounters over the last year, skunks and raccoons mostly that the older dog has killed the intruders and the younger dog, instead of helping, has ran around confused not knowing what she should be doing or else scared.
